Ultra-independent writer/director William Winckler (best known for cult favorite THE DOUBLE-D AVENGER) returns with this campy horror flick. A group of scientists--who seemingly will never learn that this playing God stuff is just not a good idea--have resurrected Frankenstein's monster in an isolated lab off the California coast. They've also created a gruesome half-man, half-amphibian creature, and intend to use both for the good of the country. But when their brainwashing techniques fail and the monsters run amok, the scientists and the surrounding community are in for a predictably rough time. Fun, silly, and low-budget, this movie sees predestined to join Winckler's other creations in the cult canon. 90 Minutes. B&W; Widescreen
